ON SHOPPING VINTAGE
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR STUFF?
Every item in the shop has been hand selected in thrift shops, garage sales, estate sales and online marketplaces primarily in Ontario and Quebec.
DO YOU ONLY SELL VINTAGE?
Most of our pieces are vintage, but not all. We don't discriminate on cool second hand pieces. If it has good bones, that's good enough for us.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
second hand; something perviously owned by someone else regardless of its age
Vintage; 20 years +
Antique; 100 years +
Retro; vintage vibes but not vintage in age.
WHAT DOES "GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION" MEAN?
Second-hand items, by nature, will almost never be in perfect condition. We will always note any perceived flaws or imperfections but please know it is normal to expect some minor signs of wear.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RESTORED?
Restoration refers to bringing something back to its original state.
We definitely do some restoration but pieces that come through our shop are found in all kinds of conditions. We take full license to bring these forgotten treasures back to life in whatever way we feel best respects and enhances them on an individual bases.
Any work done on an item will always be stated in the listing.
VINTAGE LIGHTING?
our lighting is always looked over and rewired as perceived needed. However, lighting is vintage and has vintage parts. It is up to the customers discretion to use/update as they feel necessary.

ON SHIPPING, DELIVERY & PICK UP
SHIPPING
shipping is Canada & USA wide
Most lamps are shipped at $65CAD flat rate due to weight as well as the extra packing materials and box sizes required to get them to you safely. Smaller lamps may not be held to this standard if deemed unnecessary. Extra large table lamps and floor lamps will require shipping to be invoiced separately and will be clearly stated in the listing.
All costs and rates are in CAD.
furniture rates are based on size, weight and distance travelling and will be invoiced separately. Please contact us ahead of purchase to recieve a quote.
All items ship from Ottawa, Ontario within 1-5 days of shipping payment via Canada Post/Ups. Furniture via Uship. Any available tracking will be provided. Any taxes, duties or fees required in your country are your responsibility.
Heirloom House his not responsible for any items delayed or lost in transit. After and item has shipped it is no longer our responsibility. We are unable to refund or replace stolen or unclaimed packages that have been marked as delivered. We are not responsible for undelivered goods due to an incomplete or incorrect address. Though we will do our best to assist in any way we can.
Delivery times are only estimates. Delays can come when crossing borders or during holiday seasons. Heirloom House does not take responsibility for upholding estimated delivery times on shipped items.
you may keep and open box for 8 weeks on small items only to bundle and save on shipping. Lamps are NOT available for bundling, unless otherwise stated.
Once client is ready to close the box or 8 weeks has passed, boxes will be processed and shipping invoices sent. Boxes will only be sent after payment is received.
Items in open boxes that are unclaimed and/or have unpaid shipping after 12 weeks (4 weeks after close date), without alternate plans made, are considered forfeit.
LOCAL PICK UP
Pick up Available In Ottawa south near Bank St. & Hunt Club Rd. All info will be emailed to you with your receipt of purchase.
pick ups must be made within 6 weeks of purchase or your items will be considered forfeit.

Delivery is available on furniture only. From;
Toronto - Ottawa - Montreal
rates are based on distance and are usually organized within 1-3 weeks.
Local delivery within 50km $35 CAD
Toronto $150 CAD
Montreal $75 CAD
please select Delivery at checkout. Contact will be made via email you and invoiced separately after we have made a plan for the delivery. Delivery available within any location between these cities, contact for exact rate.
there are many reasons you may checkout with 0$ shipping. We will always contact you to arrange appropriate shipping and delivery. Shipping costs on all items must be payed before items will be sent

Due to the nature of our wares, we do not accept returns or exchanges
